I have a side effect of a steroid cream and my thin is thinned?

I have a couple thinned layers of skin parts on my skin where it looks like it has just the dermis no longer the upper layer. I tried to cover it with neosporne or something but it seems not to heal, any suggestions?I have a side effect of a steroid cream and my thin is thinned?
I'd suggest a dermatologist.
