What would it do if you applied it everytime the area itched? (im talking about the otc cortizone 10 plus that is bought at walmart and also using it for chigger bites.)Why shouldnt you apply cortizone cream more than 3-4 times daily?
A dermatologist once told me that if you use it several times a day over long periods of time (probably years), it could cause your skin to get thinner. Usually this is the only the case with the prescription version but he said it's possible if you way over-use the stuff for a really long time.
I'm pretty sure you would be fine if you applied it every time you itch as long as you're not using it for longer than a few weeks.
