Cortizone cream ???????........help...?

I have a small rash on my arm that itches and is red and gets worse if i itch it....i am using cortizone cream but ive never had a rash in my life so i don't really know how to use it...do you put a thin layer on and leave it???? or do you fully rub it in ...also is it better to leave it uncovered or cover it with something....thanksCortizone cream ???????........help...?
You can do either. Rub it in completely if it doesn't hurt to, or coat it and cover it with gauze/bandaid if it hurts to rub it in.

Most Over-the-counter cortisone cream is 1% hydrocortisone so it is relatively safe to put anywhere externally. Just be careful near your eyes or an open wound.

If your rash won't go away or blisters/crusts you should see a dermatologist for stronger cream and/or an antibiotic.

Pay attention to the foods you eat too, once you get your rash under control. Should your rash come back, it could be an allergy.

Sounds like contact dermatitis or eczema which cortisone will help.Cortizone cream ???????........help...?
Sounds like you have eczema. Rub a thin layer on your skin 2 times a day for 7 days. It should clear up, if not see a dermatologist for a stronger cream. Also, they sell over the counter cortizone cream with moisturizer, aloe, etc. Hope that helps!
it's a good cream for the rash you should get it and yes you should fully rub it.
dont use cortizone use calomine lotion it will help the itching and redness way better .. its a pink bottle... its what people use for chicken pocks
idk i have really bad dry skin on my hands, but i use some and rub it in then put gloves on (i sleep with them on)
